Clay Oven was founded by existing owner Gurnek Singh Gill in 1997. Our regulars on testimonies clearly state and believe that our food is the best Indian food in the city especially our butter chicken, lamb curry and the fresh Naans. Clay Oven is fully licensed restaurant serving Calgarians six days a week with delicious lunch buffet and dinners.We also provide take out and catering services for small and large occasions.Clay Oven specializes in North Western Indian (Punjabi) cuisine which is made in the most traditional way. We offer all the varieties of Indian cuisine but our Punjabi food is amongst the most popular. He migrated to Canada from England and brought his cooking experience with him. Gurnek now has about thirty five years of experience in Indian cooking. At the same time, our portion sizes are bigger than other Indian restaurants in town.
